What are you putting up with in your life?
😒 The burned out light bulb in the kitchen.
🤪 All the clutter on the dining room table.
😩 The sink that never drains.
How much better would you feel if those things were no longer present in your life?
You will be amazed at the amount of renewed energy and relief you will get by getting “that thing” taken care of.
Give it a try!

I just started my walk. There's something in my shoe.
So I'm going to stop my walk and I'm going to get that thing out of my shoe.
[30 seconds later]
So much better!
Now, I probably could have just powered through that.
It wasn't that annoying and I could kind of like feel that it would move to places in my shoe where it like wasn't as annoying and it wasn't bothering me as much.
But there were a couple of times where I would step and I'd be like, “Oooo! Ugh!” and that kept happening.
And then I kept anticipating it and thinking it was going to happen again.
And that was kind of a buzzkill for my nice walk here.
So as slightly annoying as it was to have to sit down for a second, take off my shoe, find the tiny little pebble that was in my shoe and get rid of it it was totally worth it.
Because, yeah, as humans we're pretty adaptable.
We can put up with a lot. We can adjust how we live our lives to tolerate a lot of things. We did it for like three or four years in a global pandemic, right?
We're still kind of doing it, which is a really good skill to have.
AND it can get us into trouble when we're continuing to tolerate things that we could just very easily take care of.
So my question to you is, What's your pebble in your shoe?
What's the thing that you're tolerating that it would be slightly annoying to have to sit down on the curb and get it out of your shoe, but it would so be worth it to get it out of your shoe what's the thing in your shoe?
Go take care of it.
It's worth it.
You're worth it. 💖
